The Activities Club managed to corner a Bat Spirit causing havoc on the school’s ghosts. Unfortunately they chase it right where Max bust out of the closet with his bat. Being attacked by the spirit, strange black tendrils came out of the bat as he defeated the first bat. Spender tells Max about their secret, the Paranatural Activities Club, and explains the psychic dealings and their powers. Max, being intreguied but weirded out, heads home with his bat in tow, having a long day.

Now Max met his ghostly neighbors in the middle of the night, PJ and Lefty, and they have spotted a huge spirit inside the store.

What Will become of our tiny heroes? I’m not sure if they have a ghost of a chance! Get it? It’s PARANATURAL!

Last we saw Max was continuing his day of school, just trying to survive through the mayhem of teachers and students alike. At lunch he ran into the journalism club where he learns more about the mysterious Activities Club. Johnny managed to finally face off against Max, which ended in Max being defeated and gave Johnny the 50 cents thus ending the feud. (he really seem to want that 50 cents Collin). Meanwhile, ghosts keep bothering Isabel about a problem on the 2nd floor, making the Activities club leap into action. Directed by their teacher Mr. Spender, Ed and Isabel head off to stop the ruckus. Seeing Isabel run after the ghost, Max decided to give chase causing Isabel to lock him in a closet for his own safety.

Now let’s tune back in to see how he’s going to get out

Max finally managed to make it to school, and was ambushed by Suzy and Collins, members of the school’s Journalism club. While given a tour of the school area, Max continues to see more paranormal sights. When class starts, he continues to meet new classmates, including Johnny, who continues to antagonize Max. Meanwhile Issac, another student who knows about the paranormal happenings of the school, talks to a mysterious figure about Max’s arrival.

Max was heading off on his first day of school, but soon fell off a cliff when texting while scootering. He managed to break his fall by unfortunately using a group of four other children as his cushion. When he was about to apologize, Max freaked out after seeing some spirit on Johnny’s head, the leader of the group, further antagonizing them as they charged. Max managed to escape but soon came face to face with a street flooded with ghost and ghouls, who then vanished from sight. Now Max turns back to where he came from, and continues his journey through the town.

Let’s try something different shall we?

So what I no about this comic? Nothing. I think I might have seen a panel of one guy going “On a scale of No to Yes: Yes” and a page on a dude basically calling out a bully on his issues. But I am honestly not entirely sure if it came from this comic or not.

Based on the title here I am getting some ghost vibes, with Paranatural being a mash up of “supernatural” and “paranormal”. Or all the ghosties and gremlins are in here.
