Wandering Inn 1.03

Why the decimal point? How is this like one-hundredth of the story?

It is nice to discover new things while running for your life, isn’t it?

You know that Goblin wanted to show off his cleaving skills.

I am loving the yodeling goblins more and more.

I call bullshit. How dare these goblins use hunting tactics used by humans. That is cheating.

So she enters the Inn and is locking all the doors and windows before the goblins get there. A smart move, but I’m pretty sure that the Inn wouldn’t have allowed the goblins in in the first place. Not sure why, but with the way they write it, it makes the place sound alive.

Well fuck my idea. Goblins can and will ignore Vampire Rules

So they start to attack her, and cut her, but then comes a change

image

And this, this I get. This I understand. But there is always just that one small moment that reminds you.

image

And that changes everything. Because adrenaline still kicks in whether in fear or in anger.

You know, I expected her to fight back. But damn, that was a literal knee-jerk reaction to the nuts.

Remember kids, the “chair breaking away” only happens with break-away chairs (pre-broken). Otherwise, you still have your improv weapon.

So she decides to kick ass with all the chairs and tables in the inn against those 6 little bastards. Pretty good fight for someone who doesn’t fight.

Now, when can we get a villain or minion or someone who doesn’t laugh evilly?

“ha ha!” oh shit she big

“HA HA!” retorts

Sounds like she is going to be a pretty good barbarian. That or athletic bard.

So she beats them back where they are now bloody, injured, and actually rethinking about attacking the human.

The best way to scare off the tiny menaces.

So she laughs herself to exhaustion, which when you think about it, it is pretty absurd situation.

At least she levels up pretty fast.

They blasted past when you kicked that goblin in the nuts.
