I think that this is a very good spot to end it on, seeing how we are now moving on to more Agents and Jack things. Hope prison treated him well.

So we have finished Aranea and Jake’s conversation. A lot was learned from that.

Like how the troll society was literally flipped, where in the peaceful world the elites would work to help the lower castes, not the lower castes serving the elites. 

Powers weren’t common, so viewed with mistrust on peaceful land. Making both Aranea and Vriska be viewed in a negative light. The whole “empath” thing also does help explain Vriska’s behaviors too. Maybe she didn’t use it as much as the mind-control portion, but if Vriska did get emotional sense from her victims, yeah that explains why she had to be so tough and cocky, else those feelings would have eaten her up.

And Meenah….ok yeah maybe I am giving her some more sympathy. Not actually liking her, but I can see where she is coming from. Because nothing has changed really. Sure, the pre-reset is more positive and happy than the post-reset, but the blood-caste system was still there wasn’t it? The blue-bloods were still elites, but had to care for those underneath. Fuchsia blood were basically royalty and no matter what Meenah would do, she would have HAD to take the job. For thousands of years.

Don’t get me wrong, Post-Reset Trolls are the worse. They delegate responsibilities to the lower castes and Queen Ferrari didn’t give a shit about anything as long as her own orders were followed through. But Meenah still didn’t really have much control over her life choices by the same blood system that Queen Ferrari absolutely enforced. The only difference is whether they were serving, or being served. 

Is Aranea her Moirail? Did those terms even existed in the Pre-Reset? I have no idea.

This sounds like an abusive friendship you have here Aranea. Just saying.

It was on a moon right? Scratch probably found her and gave her the game so she can play and never return to be forced into leadership, only for her to unwittingly be somewhat forced into servitude in the next reset.

ok.. maybe Meenah was still pretty bloodthirsty….but yeah I can get why thousands of years servitude for an entire planet can be pretty bad. Especially since people tried to find her to bring her back to that life. She gets leeway from me on that, not from trying to kill John and Roxy.

Yeah….being told that you were born for queendom just because of your longevity if sort of forcing the position on her. I would accept that she wouldn’t want the job because of that, if it wasn’t for the fact she is also pretty bloodthirsty.
