That you guys soooo much for following my blog! I never Dreamed that it would ever get this big when I started it almost 2 years ago.
This originally started out as a way for me to kill time while taking a break from studying for Finals, and look where it’s at now. A ton more comics, Discord, Patreon, Youtube Videos, Interactive followers and asks! Really, you guys are the best!
Thank you for joining me. Thank you for sticking with me. And Thank You for following me into whatever new blogging the future will hold.
That does sound like a good idea. Actually, the Temple Of Karkat thing I was doing was supposed to be me testing out how Letsplays would work. I would love to do more games like that, though I probably won’t update them as often since videos take a bit longer to do/make.
But if you have any requests on games for me to do, shout them out in either an ask or in the idea-channel on the Discord. Fair warning, my rules for suggestions also apply to games, and I am fine with horror but I will scream.
This is a pretty good comic. It has this outer-edge of magic that they know is there from the get-go, but don’t really see. Like it’s just out of reach. Sure, we saw one stranger raise a cat from the dead….but did we really? Is there something magical in this place, or is it the perceptions that we have to make it look like there is?
The art helps with that feeling too. Especially with the black. I love the shadows, how they aren’t perfects and feel like they are scratched out. It makes it feel more alive and moving, which also adds onto the uneasy atmosthphere.
I love Leona and Colin. Leona is so cool and outgoing, doesn’t care about what people thing and just living her best life. Colin is just a high bundle of nerves and tries to be the mature on, but with way too much anxiety. They are great!
I also like Toska and his friend, the shops owner. Toska reminds me of the Cheshire Cat, and that teapot lamp didn’t do anything to persuade me to think otherwise. Some big story had to have happened with the friend, she has that huge scar across the neck. Like, something happened.
And the store looks freakin’ amazing. I can easily find myself get lost in there for hours looking at everything. There is so much detail to this comic, I love every panel.
On my Fibonacci Scale from 1 to 21: I give it a 13. It’s solid, mysterious, has a faint sense of tension that makes me want to continue onward, with realistic and lovable cast that I want to root for.
What I like about this….is that you can play it off as the store magically fucking with him….but you can also play it as his own paranoia growing. And it works because you don’t know which one it is really.
