So I went back into my longs to see what my original reaction to Dave’s note was, but I couldn’t fine it. I just chalked it up to Hussie not wanting us to read it yet.

But this means that Dave wrote a note to be sent back in time about his feels of that rabbit for John to read a few hours ago, to try and instill an emotional attachment to believing in Dave.
