ok, but I can at least imagine the Train using like portals or something to warp to another place. What Jones did was the equivalent of me grabbing air, pulling it to me, and suddenly everything in the room just instantly leans in. There is just a certain level of space-warping powers that I can accept.
Really?
I don’t see it.
I mean, I can get why his eccentric personality mixed in with his dangerous nature would make him popular…..but I don’t get it.
He just isn’t my taste of men I guess.
He probably sleeps in a prop coffin in the drama department waiting for his cue to burst out into song.
Now you would think that, but as discussed in Homestuck “FUCK” is a holy word. And since Lucifer is the devil, he legally can’t say a holy word.
yeah….Hijack’s death is a tragedy. Hopefully we might see him again. Maybe he possessed a kid to regain himself, like what Forge did. Can’t
I will concede on the fact that I should call him Puckett. Saying that he is “Max’s Dad” all the time sort of robs him of his own personality, and puts more weight on his relationship to his son than his own identity.
HOWEVER: I am not going to call the guy that I am fucking crushing on “Mr Puckett”. Like, what am I? The local 16 year old babysitter? I have class here.
I don’t mind the morality themes. I think they are fasination and I love how most of them come from the ghosts, like Forge&Spender, Lucifer&Hijack, with some smaller debates between the humans like Isabel&Isaac. They may seem long, but Morrison does know how to utilize them well to progress the plot.
You know what, if Lord English looks like this:
I would be terrified.
Start of Chapter 5: “Holy Shit Hijack is fucking insane and evil”
Middle of Chapter 5: “holy shit Hijack is just a big dumb dorky baby”
End of Chapter 5: “holy shit Hijack just died noooo”
That sounds about right.
Red = Isabel
Orange = Dimitri
Yellow = Spender
Green = Ed
Blue = Isaac
Purple = PJ
Black = Max
Damn we got the whole rainbow set, a skittles worth of ghosts if you will.
Oh my god, he can be Sunny D. That is his nickname from now on.
Everyone knows about martial arts except Max, everyone. It makes sense, since Hijack would probably want to maximize his use out of a body and not let it break so easily.
Hijack is a dumb brain baby that tries his best by faking through everything. He deserves a gold star.
Chapter 5 Page 300(pg 601)
So wow. Was that a wild right from start to finish.
Cody being the secret anime president, and now confirm there are monsters in town, and they do have a mafia of sorts. VP has to be the witch (with ties to Zarei, interesting), and Cody is in charge.
I feel sad for Hijack’s death (maybe he possessed something?). Lisa has to be another monster, right? And maybe Starchman too (but I still think he is a human-fae man).
Violet and Cody fighting for Jeff intrigue me.
Dimitri being the missing member….did not see that coming. I thought it was a girl…and dead. So that makes me happy to know, yes he is a spectral, just not with the Cousinhood. Maybe we will get more backstory later.
All the kids got good character resolutions to all of their problems. Like, this was such a satisfying conclusion. Max staying to fight, Ed regains Isabel, Isaac feels like he belongs and is actually given information, and Isabel learning to be more gentle with her allies and enemies. They have all grown up, and I am proud of reading their journey.
God such a heart warming ending!
You can still support them by being with them you know.
You don’t know all of Garcia’s secrets.
oh man…is your boyfriend going to give you grief over what you did today?
Right, because BL want Max to work with her.
