And I think that is good enough for tonight.
Roy is dead and NOT loving it. Which sucks, but at least we are narrowing it down “how to make my friends talk to dead people”.
Celia, Haley, and Belkar are now on their way. I am wondering if Haley and Celia can survive the month journey to Cliffport without wanting to kill each other. Belkar is ignored here because they both want to kill him anyway. But now he is learning the ways of a pet owner. It will get more interesting when Belkar remembers that he can probably speak to animals.
V is crashing, hard. Like, I get that they are pissing everyone off with his blatent uncaring attitude, but this is absolutely unhealthy with the measures they are taking here! And I’m afraid that unless Haley can get the cloister spell off, V is going to turn grimdark in a bid of finding her and it would be too late for anyone to help at that point.
And fucking O’Chul. God, he is a great match against Redcloak. He is willing to admit that there are senseless and worthless deaths, that he might not or could not prevent, and accepts it. And that just goes against everything that Redcloak believes in, that Redcloak puts himself in in preservation of his sanity. Like how he thought just for sure that O’Chul was hiding something, every test and torture and trick was to find out what he was hiding, and Redcloak was too stubborn to admit there was another way.
The best thing to come from this is O’Chul luring away Shadow-Kun, or Monster-San as he calls him. Like, they are both so genuine and O’Chul gives him such kindness and Shadow-Kun returns it. I’m just waiting for O’Chul to teach Shadow-Kun what true friendship actually is, and for them to fight Xykon together!
It’s a longshot, but one can dream.
