Huh, my view on paladins are completely different compared to the original view. Well, they vary.
One guy who I was playing with in a one-shot was a cleric when I was a tiefling warlock. And he got into character so much he kept calling me demon throughout the game. So I’m still a little salty about that, and that was probably as close to the “Miko Paladin” players as I have come across.
But for Paladins, the one in my party was part angel, a bit of a narcissist, and has canon glowing nipples when he used to I guess holy seduce some bad guys. So yeah, that was my introduction to paladins. Still Lawful Good, just not as strict.
Haley lost all her money to free her dad and now she is unable to communicate with everyone.
Roy fucking Went Off on Miko which was fucking fantastic. Of course, his little refusal and rousing his party against her resulted in chains, which sucked. God, Miko is pretty much The Worst.
However, I have two hopes. 1) She tries to Detect Evil on Belkar to summon the Laywer. 2) She does it and finds out he is Chaotic Neutral, thus making her angry and she would be unable to kill him since he isn’t evil.
And the Linear Guild is back. God I really want Nale and Miko to meet.
I just, I just want to go over that post again. Because….it just makes me very sad.
They are all chained up with their arms and necks. And they are forced to marched at her horse pace, which she will just death march because she wanted to before.
Look at my poor boy. He is so sad. Scuffed up and in front.
Haley is angry, bleeding. And Blinded. I have no idea why blinded. But she doesn’t need a gag because she can’t be understood anyway.
Oh the other end, we have V. They are gagged because a wizard needs a vocal component to cast their magic. Plus all of those cursed worse they have saved just for her.
Belkar is fucking knocked out and hanging. They are literally carrying him, or dragging him, because he can’t walk himself. There is no way in hell he would have gone down without a fight.
My Dear Roy. Black eye, scuffed up. In the middle because even if he does fight, as a fighter he needs space and it is hard to do so with two people on either side of you.
Durkon is the only one with a horse, because he was the only one who didn’t fight. But really, did Thor really want you do force yourself like this to do “his will”? Look how concern he is for his friends.
Leaving Miko, focused on her duty with all of their weapons. I like to believe that Belkar managed to get a few hits on the horse before he is taken out.
I have no idea how being a woman killed your feelings for her, but I applaud Elan for bringing up the fact that: Do you REALLY Like her more than your friends?
You see, by starting this conversation with Sarcasm, Roy no longer gives any shits about her. He is only apologizing so that he will have no attachments to her, right or wrong, so he can join the band wagon in hating her for the right reasons.
