Part 275 End

That does it for me today. God, that Vriska stuff is making me tear up.

Because, damn if she doesn’t try.

Everything she has done, from her childhood to present, was to try and be a hero. Was to try and shake off the villain narrative that she was forced into and be someone that can help people.

She has killed people for her own survival, but now she is willing to kill for others. To fight and plot and find the path to true victory in defeating English.

I think Vriska can be acturately summed up as an anti-hero. She does good things, but is willing to do bad things to get there. Willing to sacrifice people to help the greater good.

I mean, Vriska is right. While the rest of the universe is going to be nuked and destroyed to oblivion from all the Evil Cherubs, the ghosts get to enjoy themselves in an eternity of a 2nd life. 2nd chance. She was ok with their sacrifice because they were all meant to die naturally, and denied that a long time ago.

I can’t say I approve of those methods, of forcing people to act as bait like that, but I also can’t deny it either. It was effective, resourceful, and honestly? I can’t think of anything else that they could have done. If there was another way, any other possible way I would jump on it. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

Of course, not everyone feel like that. Sollux, Nepeta, Feferi, Tavros, and John don’t. I think that John and Tavros are rethinking their love for Vriska. Tavros especially. Maybe, maybe he will do what Vriska and Meenah couldn’t. Create the ghost army and lead everyone to battle, like his Beta-Ancestor. I mean, Sollux didn’t leave until Tavros did, so there is a chance.
