RubyQuest 1 End
So I am going to stop it here. A bit of an interesting cliff-hanger that we got going on. Instead of Ruby being buried alive underground, she was buried alive underwater. Crafty.
So this isn’t really a game as much as a read-through of other people playing said game. It is a lot similar to Homestuck with the pictures/commentary, separate narration, people inputting their own commands (and abusing them). Plus with the black and white, it reminds me of Problem Sleuth (or at least, the few panels of PS that I had seen before).
Overall I think it is interesting. There is a lot of mystery and intrigue going on with how Ruby got there and why. Like watching someone trying to make a walk-through as they are playing the game.
On my fibbinacci scale of 1 to 21: ….eh, 5. Not to say that I am opposed to the genre/game/story-telling (My main blog is homestuck, you know me). But there isn’t much character other than “literally me as a girl rabbit”. Plus….I am not sure how I feel about doing/continuing another flash narrative game story while doing homestuck. I’m still unsure about even trying Problem Sleuth!
So this looks fun to guess along the correct actions, but it is going on the shelf for now.
