ok see, Time to Shine with my Indian knowledge.

I am taking a college class called “Perspectives of India” (which is really fun btw) and we talked about the symbolism of the Lotus.

So the Lotus Flower (also known as a Water Lilly) is the flower of the gods. It is to represent purity from growing in dirty water. Hindu gods would be seen sitting on the Lotus as a sign of the divine and perfection.

Not only that, but the color purple is also important. By itself, purple would be associated with Royalty, among others. But as a Purple Lotus, it specifically represents “ascension, enlightenment, rebirth.”

So seeing Dave’s copy of the game on a Lotus is very interesting
