I refuse for you to not appreciate this bag. 

You can summon the animal, have the wizard make your enemies fear the animal, and you basically got yourself a herding dog.

You can have your creature sneak around and grab certain items/weapons while you are in the middle of a battle that you can’t grab.

Distraction anyone???
