Karkat, apologizing? Allowing things to happen? Letting Dave win the day? Oh the stars aligned on this day, didn’t it?

They went from trying of a serious conversation, to arguing about Karkat’s movie choices, and I think that this is a beautiful thing.

So….to Clarify….

Karkat, before planning his trolling against the humans WAY BACK WHEN, when he saw that he had only a few hours left to live, decided the best way to do it was to just torrent all the romance movies he could find on Earth.

And after a year’s travel on this rock, I bet he went through all of them already.

Now Dave isn’t trying to be snarky here, he is just genuinely surprised that the job of Romance Professor is currently being filled. 

Humans believe that being trapped together is the best way to start dating, and it is all agreed that Mayor is a little slow, but still a wonder to be with.

k, so Karkat seems to have accepted that Terezi does have feelings with Dave, and he wanted to talk to Dave about Terezi, not to more/less fight over her.

But Dave doesn’t view his thing with Terezi being “a thing” with Terezi, and thinks Karkat is being an idiot like usual.

I was waiting for a gif to like, have them start fighting, but at least they are talking things out now.

A year ago you were trying on different suits to make you look cool. Now you are protective of your cape. People change.

And this is how we now start a fist-fight on the meteor. Tensions run high, and the snark make it go higher.

God he wasn’t trying to calm down, he was fucking winded. He had a relationship epiphany and the place he needed to go to was to find Dave.

They argued about Mayor and Mayonaise. I miss childish shit like this. We need more of this in our lives.

Karkat, if you just got a relationship epiphany for Terezi, why the hell are you badgering to Dave about Terezi? Can you talk without even the undertone of aggression?

Trolls can be fucking cute sometimes, and calling quotes “enclosure talons” is down right adorable.

Karkat just calmed down, (calmed himself down I might add), and now Dave is going to unintentionally rile him up again.
