Oh, ooooooooh I like this. I like this a lot. What would happen if Lucrezia and Xykon switched universes?

Well Lucrezia in OotS…yeah that place is going to suffer. Magic is just science unexplained right? So I see Lucrezia doing her “Mad Spark” to just understand the shit out of magic, including but not limited to kidnapping wizards for study, replicating said magic with her mad lad inventions, and totally willing to use the snarl/gates as a power source for whatever world domination she plans. 

Not only that, but she is strategic, ruthless, and had her own army with the spider women priestess. I’m pretty sure Redcloak would be 100% down with having her as a leader over Xykon any day. Especially since her ability to make, you know, Guns and Lasers for her Goblin Army can give them an edge against everything else.

Basically, she is going to wreck everyone’s shit.

Xykon in Girl Genius is a bit trickier. He’s powerful absolutely, and hella evil, but is totally apathetic. There is no drive or ambition really other than doing whatever evil thing that comes to mind. Hell, world domination wasn’t even his idea until someone else suggested it.

The groups in GG has a delicate political power game going on, but Xykon is just going to upend that for the lols. He will definitely piss Baron off to be marked for murder. He may get the Jaegars on his side, or at least get them to initially like him what with their love of violence, fighting, and chaos. But if he treats them like Goblins and kills them just cause, they are also going to turn on him. Basically, it is going to be hard for Xykon to gain any allies unless they come specifically to him.

Not to say he can’t cause any damage. Given how his current mission was world domination, I see him trying to continue his mission here. Having new toys like Clanks, Lasers, and any other steampunk mad science is definitely going to inspire him for new forms of evil. Possibly will try to go after the Slaver Drones and release them since A) he’s a lich, he can’t be affected, and B) super dangerous weapon is just right there for the taking so why not take it?

My Discord has too much power because What the Hell was this??

I am so, so confused and just, you people knew what I was getting into here. Which I mean, fair, granted, I would so the same too, but the dedication to the weirdness is what kills me.

This is just an hour long youtube satire video dedicated to why this ONE specific Garfield strip is the ultimate symbol of art on God’s Green Earth. And I fullheartedly believe this is satire, because 1) it is too weird and exaggerated to be real and 2) I fear for the world if this guy is serious, so for the sake of humanity he is not real.

The dedication to this, the effort put into what amounts to be a tumblr conspiracy thesis, it is awe inspiring really. This guy never cuts away, never takes a break, never flinches. It is done ALL in one take. Can you imagine trying to talk bullshit for an hour and someone not stutter or flinch or anything?? God I hope this guy was reading off of a teleprompter because if he had to memorize this entire thing that would be insane. Not to mention the background effects and editing of side cameras and comic edits. I can’t imagine how long THAT took on top of the ONE HOUR TAKE!

Then there is the crap that he was actually saying. When I was listening…I was sort of following it at the beginning. I at least got it was satire right off the bat so I was proud of me. But then he lost me. It was like a tidal wave of words washing over me only to recede to the surf before the next wave hit. I wasn’t watching as much as listing to his monotone explaining why The Pipe Strip was the best thing since slice bread. I don’t think I can even remember all the points he went over. Color Blindness, passive vs active aggression, comic structure, the devil (I think) were just some of the things he went over. And even then that barely covers anything of what this video was.

Overall: if you like weird shit, this is weird shit. Weird Shit dressed in a trench coat having fun making pretending to be professional. Will probably never watch it again, but it exists in the world. I have to give him props for that.
