Right! Time to start Volume 5! Yay for us.

The circus people are all (if not most) Sparks just trying to live their best life. Othar is letting Agatha live do to her legacy. Her legacy is one that doubles as also being evil too, so a good good mix of heroes and villains in her past. Her Jaegar bodyguards are unknowingly watching from a distance. There is still some shady shit going on in the circus, and Gil still thinks Agatha is dead.

Things can only get better/worse from here, and I am counting the volumes ‘til we get our Gil/Agatha reunion we saw in the portal.

Well things are still problematic, but only slightly less now.

Jake’s hope fucking beat out 2 dead universes. Like, my god, how much hope was shoved into that noodle body?? I know that hope can kill (glaring at you Eridan) but shit son, that is a hell of a lot of power.

And I still fear that the planet is going to explode now.

Because Jade is knocked out, so she can’t cause trouble. But likewise she can’t swap planets out either! So Jake is now stuck here! About to potentially blow up the universe tadpole, Kanaya , and Karkat! Aranea doesn’t give a shit because she can’t die with being extra immortal. So she is just waiting until Jake is finished before pouncing.

But with John there….then maybe he can convinced Aranea to not give up just yet. Her plan to revive Cali might still work if she gives the ring back to John. I don’t know how he is going to convince her, but I sure do have enough hope to believe he will.

Quickly Aranea, since you are still floating. Heal Jade before she wakes up. I would like to have our doggy girl be a good again.

Jade is blasted back to the lava (now good) but is still tethered to the light (maybe good?). Just someone grab her before she gets killed!

Jade now has to live with the fact that she lost, and the killing blow was an old-timey reference that no one barely knows.
