Yeah, I’ll probably read the comics afterwards. To be quite honest, I wasn’t expecting my reactions to be quite as popular as they are. So I will definitely try to continue to blog as much of it as I can. Zim is pretty entertaining after all. ^u^

I think that this is where I am going to stop for now. It took a hell of a lot longer to blog videos like this, so I’ll finish the episode later.

So I decided to love Zim, this alien bug person. I want to say child….but I seriously don’t have ANY idea how old he is. He can be 26 for all I know. But he is childish, demanding, dedicated to his cause, doesn’t register any hints of anger or annoyance or japes aimed his way, and so assured of his success that he wants a chance to try. He is just so fucking entertaining.

Same with the rest of the show. While I don’t think I actually busted out laughing, there were so many good jokes that sucker punched me it was like learning how a heart-attack feels. “You quit being banished” still fucking kills me. The Tallest are such assholes, but they do it in this, weird smarmy way that there is nothing unpleasent about it. Like, they are terrible people, but they own it so hard that it sells the comedy.

Our Earth family looks entertaining as well. Dib was the kid’s name I was trying to remember (got close with the D part). And he looks like the lone hero, brooding in the night, ready to do what he can to prevent the alien attack and save the world. Then falls into sink of water. The dad looks pleasent and fun to watch, and the sister is so tired of everything in their household. I am going to enjoy that family dynamic well as well.

I really did wish I saw this when I was a kid. This falls right in line with all the other shows I loved like Grim Adventures and Courage the Cowardly Dog. Well, at least I am watching it now!

Well, Zim is enthusiastic about his job, I can give him that.

Yall they were snickering about the robot being “advance” but then it actually came to life so these guys are actually good about making robots on the fly, they just don’t give a shit.

I never actually watched an episode, but you know how sometimes they used to play clips during commercials inbetween shows? Well during the holidays around Christmas, I remember watching a clip where I think Zim won?? Or at least was succeeding. He was dressed as santa, people thought he was santa, he was going “ho ho ho” as people were cheering. And there was dramatic music playing
