Good Start to the episode title, but it is 24 minutes long??? I thought that it was like a 11 minute episodes?? I guess the pilot is longer for exposition.

The Nightmare Begins

So I’ve never actually watched Invader Zim before.

I was more of a Cartoon Network kid who occasionally watched Nickelodeon, and this was one of the shows that I have never seen before. Ever. I think the most I have seen is were Zim and the other kid (Dweeb? Dip??) are screaming at each other from across the road.

I get the basic premise. Maybe. Alien comes to Earth to invade, gets thwarted by enemy child, episodic shenanigans. Other than that, no idea. Not about the episodes, not about the other characters. Just the whole general vibe.

So, shall we begin?

Well that was just a bomb going off.

Aranea never even gave Jake a chance to decide. She just went in and “fixed” him. (Ugh I still get the creeps even from typing that). I get that he was known to be powerful and epic, but it was so concentrated that it destroyed the city and summoned monster angels! Enough for ARquius/Hal to feel and know about the power flux!

Man, I was so sure that Aranea was going to introduce herself as Mindfang too. Well she still has to play the game when some more god-tier characters come by. Better not get their attention yet. But I would love to see Jane and Aranea battle. 

Roxy is out, which is good. Maybe she can meet up with John and work on the next stage of her powers. Hell, what if Roxy just steals the Life Ring from the void? She was going to use it to help a friend, so it is totes plausible for her to do it.

But now we wait, to see the type of person Jake is now forced to become.

Wait, Brain-Dirk was with Jake, and it was established that that really was a part of Dirk. Same with Hal. So the Hal side would be able to sense it even from the other planet.
