I always chalked it up to Criminal Minds.

Me and my sister love the show, and when watching it, we would always play “guess the bad guy” to see if we would call who the murderer was. This bled into other shows/movies, so now it is just a gut feeling at this point. My friend would always get so mad when she showed me Supernatural episodes because I would always guess what would happen after 15 minutes.

Add that ability with my humor being like Monty Python and that I keep thinking of random things that would make me laugh, I am just a natural at visual cues/foreshadowing.

I don’t know why I dislike her. It isn’t a hatred or a strict dislike, she just rubs me the wrong way. Early on I thought she was rude and snooty. Now, yeah I do think she is awkward, but I still think that she comes off as rude. Or at least tactless. Which is weird to say because she is like the Troll version of Rose and I do like Rose after getting to know her. Maybe because she keeps trying to one-up Rose all the time, or at least prove she is smarter than her

Bottom line: Goth is more of an annoyance than straight dislike.She’s getting better to me

If it was just that with E, then yeah that could make sense. Want to avoid Vriska’s wrath and all that. If that was the only thing. BUT, he has made it absolutely clear that it was mainly on Nepeta “associating” with the “lesser bloods” than anything about her safety. So if the safety thing does have a part to play, it is very little compared to the racism

However, it should also be noted that hussie has made a lot of nasty jokes about various things in the past, even outside homestuck. Its hard to tell if hes learned his lesson at this point as he seems to be inactive on most social media, however from what ive seen he does seem to be trying to be more self-aware when it comes to certain things. Just thought you should be aware of this stuff )

I don’t really know Hussie outside of Homestuck. Hell, I don’t even know Hussie while reading Homestuck. The most info on the man is whatever you guys pass onto me. He is practically a cryptid. So it is hard for me to judge the guy when all I know about him is just his story.

However, I don’t want to be dismissive of any complaints against him and his writing either. If people are feeling offended/attacked by his comments, then they should feel that way. I have no right to say anything else. But I am glad that he is trying to be more self-aware on this stuff. People can still change for the better

( Do you have any ships? Also are you aware of any popular ships in fandom ? (like even before I read homestuck, two particular ships always showed up in my dash)  )

Hoo Hoo Hoo. I know NOTHING of the ships. NOTHING!!! I don’t know any popular ships, I don’t know any canon ships, if I did see fan art (rarely) it was a group pic of the humans, but even then I am unsure. So I am a clean slate!!!

I don’t know if I have any ships exactly. Most of the time I see people as really close friends/platonic relationships unless explicitly stated otherwise. (I once didn’t realize 2 of my close friends were dating for months until they kissed in front of me).

I can see Goth and Rose as a thing. They have the same snarky intelligent mind-frame that really compliments each other. If Goth can get her own head out of her ass, they might finally start to turn friendly.

I could see Dave and John being shipped together, but I don’t know if I want to commit to it. I like seeing them more as platonic pals than anything romantic.

Nepeta and Karkat could be cute together (an angry and fluffy kitty combo). But there isn’t enough evidence for me to support it.

Hell, I can definitely see John’s Dad and Rose’s Mom be a couple as well. They had a nice little romantic moment on the ship out there.

I can also say what my NOTP is: E and Gamzee. Nope. No No. Do not want. And yet….. I know there is fanfiction exactly about the roleplay that I just read, or something similar. AND YET….. I am, for some reason, morbidly curious as to what that entire thing would read as.

Personally I have an “anything goes” kind of shipping mentality. When your first fandom/intro to fanfiction is Hetalia where everyone is shipped together, you don’t have strict stigma to shipping. As long as it is a good story, I can see it.

But if there are any particular ships you want my opinion on, send it to my ask. I’ll let you know what I think of it.

I think what kills me is that I literally pointed out her tilted feet pointing inward. That is such a classic ghost signal that I specifically pointed out, along with the nick name, and I still didn’t figure it out. Well, it is good to see that people managed to pick up on Hussie’s hints a lot faster

Ok, when you put it like that, yeah I get the how that would seem weird. But I do have a reason for it.

So, personally, I know a guy who shares the same traits as E. Not all of them, but a lot. His drinking, superiority, controlling behavior. Hell, even E’s look instantly reminded me of this guy (in real life) that I know. He never did that shit to me (my stupidity would cut through his bullshit so fast), but he did do it to a friend. My friend is fine now, but I still hate him for it.

With Vriska, it’s a story. It’s fake. She kills people via larping to feed a giant ass spider that could eat her. Have you met anyone with anything similar to that? Because of that, I was able to distance myself from her, I am able to appreciate her as a character more.

With E? I have seen that shit in real life. And I hate it. Maybe as the series goes on I can see E as his own person (the domination kink actually did help distance the two). But as first impressions go, it was too close for comfort.

This is the hardest question I have ever been asked. This is like asking what a brand new color would look like. It’s impossible to think about.

I want to think that he would still act like Troll Jesus, peace and love and all that. Only a little more serious and mature instead of SpEaKiNg LiKe ThIs.

But it could be that he turns into a stone cold bastard to eternally serve his clown gods. Who knows. I certainly hope it is the first idea, but if he has been high for his entire life then he is going to have some major withdrawls if he gets clean.

So my initial thoughts on Vriska was that she acts like an evil villain. Not to say I didn’t appreciate her villainious personality, like how you would like a bad-guy for being the bad guy, but I was also wary of her and her true desires.

Now after learning about who she is and why she murders (though briefly), yeah I do like her a lot lot more. She is a sympathetic villain, and maybe she can be pushed to goodness after her spider guardian is dead and she no longer has to kill trolls anymore.

( I think its interesting that at least three trolls so far have mentioned aspiring to join the ranks of some military/warrior/fighting(?) organization- karkat wants to be a threshecutioner, tavros wants to be a cavalreaper, and it was just stated in equiuses introduction that he would make a good ruffiannihilator (though he would rather be an acheradicator).

I would like to chalk this up to the Adult-Troll space war that the Trolls have going on. Like, the adult lives is about gathering more resources on other planets, so they do need to have a strong military front. Having adults like this bleed into the children’s lives, it doesn’t surprise me that the kids also want a military career.

Also, I want to point out that Terezi also is vying for a government position by going for a lawyer-position. And given that the government is basically military, I say we have 4+ trolls going for the ranks
