I do not know.

I mean, I can guess, theories, hints, but the dream moon just blindsided me that I am probably wrong.

But my guess is that Jade’s dreams are prophetic in some way. She gets her powers from it, or uses her powers to visit, or whatever. Who knows, but since she visits this place so often that it is second nature to her, she was probably trained with this ability.

Now, while in Moon City, we saw the White Knight citizen/person. Dressed different, but still the same. So, either this is her actually transporting to the real life moon palace, or she is condensing all the future information into one single place.

But that doesn’t fucking explain John! It can’t be a physical place otherwise wouldn’t their bodies or dream-selves be in danger? And if it was a condension of Jade’s future knowledge, then how would John’s poster drawings be seen in real life.

God the Moon is a mess.

Best guess, the Golden Moon is the fucking subconscious dimensions where everyone’s dream selves/subconscious goes to. It happens to be the golden moon because Jade is a fucking dream warrior and let’s her future vision populate it, and her connection to her friend’s subconsciousness because of her possessing abilities.

Ok, just want to finalize my thoughts a lot better here. I couldn’t really do that before since I really did have to bolt for class.

So my line of thought stemmed from the fact that Rose’s initial screenshots did not have the drawings in them. Whenever I read Rose’s tutorial/instructions, I assume it was 3rd party. None of the kids, just me viewing it, because there was no specific name attached to the command. So as third party I didn’t see the posters getting changed. But then suddenly they were, and no one really batted an eye around it. That is why I thought Time Shenanigans, and tried to make a case for it.

But now this shit is going deeper. So, we saw the source of the drawings during Jade’s dream. Which she has connection to John’s subconscious (idk how, problems later) and they were in his room, glowy and pulsing and whatever. So We can see the drawings in the dream.

Now, John can now see the posters in this black void which of the clown dimension. Does this mean that this space is closer to the subconscious level of John’s dream? Or did the shock of his dad being normal actually trigger his sight of them?

And, third option, if John’s posters were like that since the get-go, does that mean John fucking predicted the entire clown thing? Is he a psychic too, because his fucking stuff clown plush

reminds me of something, doesn’t it?

So yeah, didn’t have time to actually think about this new information that is Jade’s dream John. Hope this explains my thought process a bit more

Ok. I accept that I have made a mistake. I won’t change my posts form before because that would be like trying to cover it up. It has been a long time since I remembered what John’s gift actually looked like.

But this also means that Jade was not only cool with the Mayor taking her present, but she prepared to give him a present as well. Does Jade just accept her fate like this?

I am a very oblivious person.

My first reaction was “Ghostbusters and foreshadowing”

My second reaction was that both of John’s chat handles spell out his last name (EGBT)

After being the dumbass I was, and an explanation from my screener I know learn that all the chat people have some combo of DNA basis in their name.

So now it is either like in-depth foreshadowing saying that the four kids are going to create a new life/planet force somewhere when the world implodes, OR Hussie just really likes throwing in Easter Eggs like that for no reason. And I can’t tell either way.

Ok, this makes a little more sense. I thought the fan-inserted commands ended around act 1 and Hussie just continued with the style. If people kept inserting random shit like “eat the mailbox” til Act 4, then that explains a lot. I don’t hate Hussie, just the people he dealt with. Though kudos to him for making an actual story out of “poop on the mailbox”

I could say he was murdered by ants and Hussie would just make him die by aliens. But for a serious guess, I think that all the adults are in on SBURB somehow, since Granddad and Rose’s Mom share the same tech as Future SBURB and John’s Dad did some investigations on it.

So I think that Granddad did create the SBURB game as a way of saving the world. Jade had to get her future seeing powers somewhere, right? So he saw what would happen in the future, and in a way to prepare he traveled, got supplies, built his fortress of solitude, trained/protected Jade, etc.Sarah Conner Style.

But he is still a very weird old man. Because he had to have died when Jade knew him, so at least like 5 years ago from this point. Then he had to have it in his will to be taxidermy, so he could be revived in the game world? Which meant that Jade was the one to stuff Grandpa’s body since she was all by herself on this island.

So to sum it, gramps was a very strange doomsday-prepper.

I did know a few things here/there, hard to get away from a prominent fandom like Homestuck here. I listed some things when I first started Homestuck (can be found with the “homestart” tag). But I knew that there were 4 kids, they played a game and the world imploded. Other than that were like bits and pieces of “the dad has no face and becomes John’s son (???)”, troll’s exist in Act 4 and have a blood caste system and everyone loves Kitkat or kacarot or whoever that guy is. And the multiverse in on a toad. I think. Most of the info I got was me scrolling pinterest.

As for expectations, honestly I thought it was a game. Or at least more interactive. But it has gotten really interactive with the flashes and music. I think I was expecting more battle oriented things, but Hussie delivered on mystery and intrigue. Which I am pleased

It was mainly for comedic annoyance. I am thoroughly enjoying Homestuck and whatever bullshit happens. It’s just that Hussie manages to catch me off guard so many times that I can’t seem to catch up.

For example, me and my sister saw that Troll 2 was playing and we jumped half-way into the movie. This was the first time we saw this movie. As soon as the boy shouted “Nilbog is Goblin backwards” both me and my sister were extremely irritated. Not that it wasn’t funny(we were crying laughing), but how the hell did we not see that coming?!

So yeah, whenever I say “I hate this/I’m so mad” it’s usually because I couldn’t/didn’t predict whatever thing just happened, and mentally preparing myself for what will happen in the future. I still love this, but it can get so random at times.

But Lil’ Cal can burn in a Dumpster Fire

So you know old-school cartoons, like Looney-Tunes and Tom & Jerry? The characters fight, then suddenly Bugs Bunny pulls out a Mallet or something. The “hammerspace” is the magic-pocket that a cartoon just pulls out any item they need without the animators having to worry about continuity.

So I refer the inventory as a Hammerspace because it’s basically a pocket dimension of stuff they have, just with more rules.

And yeah, John’s storage is literally a Hammerspace because it is a space for his hammers.

It’s fine if you guys want to explain things to me. Depending on what they are I might not address them. I try to be reactionary as possible, so some reactions (like the arms) were just jokes I would think to make myself laugh and instinctively write it. Or other times I would get it like two posts later, but by that point I already made my post so I wouldn’t bother to change it.

Though I can’t believe it took me this long for me to get that the “Retrieve Arms” command could have also meant weapons. So thanks for that one
