Right, I get that the planet was aging. I was just saying that it was interesting how it was one element before the meteor hit, then the opposite element when Desert Dude reaches there.

So when the meteor hit John’s suburb of life, it transforms into a desert thousands of years later. Or when it his an active land volcano, it turned into a water island for a frog shrine. The idea of one place can become the total opposite of itself eventually was what fascinated me

That would be very helpful. I wouldn’t want to get surprise when a long video comes up. It can help me in planning my schedule doing these sessions since I prefer to be along during my audio recordings. Though I am thinking to still screenshot the shorter videos, since I can articulate my thoughts/jokes a lot better writing them down than making them up on the spot.

Yeah, that’s a good idea.Seeing how there is only like, what, 6 acts for 10,000 pages, it’s probably best to let it do it’s own thing.

However, this does give me an interesting idea. When I finally reach the end of an Act, I have to do something special for you guys for sticking with me for that long. It could be those Tumblr Q&A lists for me to answer, or ideas for other things I should react to, or whatever.

So if you have an idea of something big I can do when I reach the end of an Act (any of them) let me know! I might use it.

I’m glad to hear that. I obviously came way late into the game on reading homestuck, but I’m glad I’m entertaining the veterans who read it before me and saw homestuck update its last post.

Also, just as a reminder for ya’ll, or in case you’re new, I have an ask-box where you guys can send asks. If you send messages, my screen-asker will see them, not me. So try and send your questions as “asks”.

If you want a full description on the rules, just check out my post under the “ask” tag. I’ll answer any question within the rules

and my suffering continues. I would have to say The Puppets. Just, everything about them. From the *S*W*A*G* puppets, to the fuck puppets, and the brother’s fetish. Seriously, this is super creepy. Like, Goosebumps Slappy. I hate it and I hate them.

Meaning, regretfully, that the clowns are my favorite. The Wizards are just, there. Nothing bad or good, but I like the art. The clowns, as much as I rag on them, at least have some interesting personality to them.

While that does sound like my jam (monster horrors and puzzle games), the last time I tried to read homestuck I got sucked into those side stories Hussie did and ended up messing with those and stopped reading the original plot. I mean, I would totally insert my own stories into my other stories, but for now let’s stick with this slice of insanity

Ask PSA

time for another session people, but first, a psa announcement.

My Ask-Screener suggested I post a guideline here on some of the questions that will get passed to me.

Asks that either clarify a concept that I don’t know (Velvet Gloves), explain a background to a thing (Wizard Portraits), or just how I think about the stuff I have already seen, those are going to get answered

Asks that talk about future characters/events, or answers a rhetorical question by saying “Oh that happens on page 8329 etc”, those are considered as spoilers and won’t be passed to me.

So shorthand, anything that asks about where I am currently at/have seen is good. Stuff that talks about future/implies the future will be tossed

Thanks for the heads up. I don’t actually go to main site to read it. I’m lazy, so I bookmark the last page (panel?) I was at and just click on that when I start again. But it is nice to know as a “just in case”.

I also heard it is now part of Viz Media and they are the ones doing the website change, but I’m not entirely sure/don’t want to google to prevent spoilers

Well, I have answered this question before, but that was under the assumption of the Data Structures Already established. But, If I get to make one up, that I can abuse.

I would go with a Cache-Hash Data Structure. A Hash is sort of like valet parking. Each car is given a ticket and stays in one spot. As long as you have the ticket, you can access the car anytime you want. So in a hash, you use a Key to sort and store anything you want. It also adds a layer of cybersecurity too.

But I want to make it into a cache as well. Cache is like mini-memory a computer uses for whatever you use the most. Like visiting the same website everyday? That would be stored in cache for faster access to said website. It is also a specific type of Hash Structure too, so double Hash.

So basically, I want a Fetch Modus with 2 bars, one smaller for more frequently used items, and one larger for other items, all in a Hash Structure.
